The story.
It started life as a 2014 328i Touring: four cylinders, an automatic, xDrive. A family wagon with nothing to prove. We pulled all of it.
In went the S55 twin-turbo six from an F80 M3, a six-speed manual, and a full conversion to rear-wheel drive. Around it went the complete M3 treatment: bodywork, subframes, brakes, and a Silverstone Merino leather interior, with every function working like it left Munich that way.
The finished car went to auction on Cars & Bids and sold for $72,000, and the press did the rest of the talking. This is the build the wagon program is built on.
